cease fire is a collective response to the war in Bosnia. Using public space as our canvas, we wage war against forgetting by slipping images of Bosnia into our everyday reality. Characters mingle with passersby, then suddenly are compelled to reveal their most intimate impressions, impacting on both the aware and unsuspecting audience.

cease fire is an interdisciplinary performance which shifts between the languages of film, dance, and theatre as easily as it flows between English, French, and Croatian.

cease fire presents a collection of perspectives in the hope of gaining some understanding of the conditions which lead to atrocity.
