How Soon Is Now? is an alarmingly effective look at group hysteria and scapegoatism, the audience is drawn together to watch the capture and death of the big bad wolf. Using the tale of Peter and the Wolf as a point of departure, the piece explores the tension between the needs and desires of the individual versus the demands of society.

Equally inspired by Prokofiev’s much loved children’s tale Peter And The Wolf and the 1931 German drama-thriller M directed by Fritz Lang, as well as Emir Kusturica’s 1995 film Underground, this new work, integrates elements of live music, multimedia, video, and text and choreography.

“It’s extraordinary, exhilarating, and enormously moving… People in search of a challenging, rigorous, adventurous evening out—will want to get to one of these performances.” (NYTheatre.com, August 2009)
